Stepping forward into a new century where 80's style punk and hardcore has re-emerged and mixed together with present day styles, Southern Californias Time For Change delivers a passionate and energetic style of music which brings kids today the sense of sincerity and compassion that only the 90's progression could offer.

Influenced by bands such as Trial, Unbroken and Strife, Time For Change produces heartfelt and outspoken lyrics coupled with fast melodic riffs that rise, dive, and inevitably crash down into catastrophic breakdowns leaving listeners overwhelmed and wanting more. Lyrically, vocalist Andy Gomez paints portraits about not only the struggle through everyday life but also the many emotions that its brings us. Subjects include accounts of drug and domestic abuse, confessions of life in a broken home and portrayals of the courage it takes to make a change in face of the worlds many problems.

Time For Change has been around since late 2004, releasing a demo and a Mini CD on Glorykid Records. In late 2005 Time For Change went through some member changes and then released a split CD and a 7 on the same label. After playing many local shows with bands like 7 Generations, Blacklisted, Final Fight and Blue Monday, the band went on tour with Winds Of Plague and xDeathstarx this last winter.

Realizing that in order to get bigger they needed to be in a situation where a label could better support everything Time For Change wanted to do, the band recently signed with New Age Records and released the "Memoirs" CD in the summer of 2008.

Im really excited that weve got Time For Change on the label. States New Age owner, Mike Hartsfield. Its always nice when bands say they are influenced by something you did, but with Time For Change its a perfect blend between past and present styles of hardcore. I think these guys are really talented and I cant wait to see what they do.
